The Career Preparation Day offered mentees first-hand career development knowledge, equipping them for a successful future. The mentees developed essential soft skills as well as vital business skills. The day comprised 3 sessions – Time Management, CV & Cover Letter Writing and Business Etiquette.
The day’s activities were an important eye-opening experience for the mentees, as the majority of them were unaware of their career options. These workshops were essential to their later involvement in the programme as they would need to formally apply for work placement opportunities in July and August.
