Rainbow Families often lack legal protection, receive little visibility in the media and are largely understudied. Therefore, it is crucial to shed light on the diverse and complex needs of Rainbow Families and their unique challenges. This research aims to illustrate the heterogeneity in modern family structures in Asia, covering the markets of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan.
