KK graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1974, and received post-graduate degrees from the University of Manchester, UK, where he obtained his MA and Ph.D.. He also holds an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.
He is the author of Marks & Spencer: Anatomy of Britain’s Most Efficiently Managed Company (Oxford: Pergamon Press, 1985).
KK started his business career at the Lam Soon Group. In 1982, he joined the Shui On Group and played a key role in transforming the Group into one of the most well managed companies in Hong Kong.
In 1992, he founded his own management consulting company, K K Tse & Associates.
KK has been active in creating the social entrepreneurship movement in Hong Kong, having co-founded Dialogue in the Dark (HK) Ltd., Education for Good CIC Ltd., and Dream Impact.
Since 2016, KK has been the driver of the local B Corp movement.

Bas A. Fransen (Speaker & Panelist)
CEO, EcoMatcher
After graduating from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and after his time as an officer of the Royal Dutch Navy, Bas had executive roles with Philips, IBM and ASML before he embarked on his start-up career. Bas is passionate about sustainability and believes that companies combined with the right technologies can make a significant difference to make the world a better place. That is what EcoMatcher is all about, a company Bas founded in 2016. Bas has been in Asia for over 20 years and lived in Taiwan, Japan and Singapore before he moved to amazing Hong Kong.

Founder, KLG Fine Food
Inspired by generations of fishermen in his family, Leung Ka Shing has devoted himself to raising awareness for responsible fishing, sustainability and fishermen's welfare. In 2012, after many years of handling his family’s eye-wear business, Leung established KLG Fine Food Company, with a focus on promoting responsible and sustainable practices. Since then, he has worked with various NGOs to raise awareness and ensure his entire team is educated on the importance of sustainable seafood.
In 2015, he developed a brand called ‘FISHMONK’, selling ethically-sourced and certified seafood to both Hong Kong and Mainland consumers. Leung believes consumer education is vital if we are to conserve our marine resources for the future. With a wide range of sustainable seafood, Leung wants the reach the maximum amount of people to help them learn about and enjoy sustainable seafood, varying from fish balls in street stalls to Skrei in some of Hong Kong’s top restaurants.

Peggy Chan (Panelist)
Director, Education For Good CIC Limited
Peggy is currently serving as a Director of Education For Good CIC Limited, a social enterprise and a certified B Corporation devoted to inspiring corporations and individuals on social innovation and social entrepreneurship. She is also a coordinator of BCCG (B Corp Consulting Group), formed by a group of professionals who are passionate to promote the B Corp movement in Hong Kong as well as providing consultation service on how to use businesses as a force for good. Peggy was a seasoned banker and she has held senior positions in various investment banks including HSBC and JP Morgan Chase Bank. Early in her career she worked in the non-government organisation (‘NGO’) sector. She has also served as a Governor of the Children’s Cancer Foundation and a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association.
