Client Solutions Manager
Community Business, the leading organisation committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in companies across Asia, is looking for a Client Solutions Manager. This is a full-time role, based in India and reporting to the Director of DE&I.
What You’ll Do:
This role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Business Development
-
Conduct market research to identify customer needs & selling opportunities for CB services & products.

Prospect, acquire, and develop leads through various sales channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. cooperating with all CB programme teams in the region and India.

Identify strategic business initiatives such as partnerships, business expansions, and community engagements to enhance organisation's visibility in partnership with the Extended Leadership Team, and support teams in generating leads independently.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals for CB.

Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities & customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Client Solutions

Provide insights from clients and stakeholders to support internal teams in converting client requirements into proposals, deliverables, redesigns, revisions, and calibrations based on needs, feedback, and engagement.

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients.
Relationship Management

Communicate proactively with programme teams and clients to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across CB functions.

Serve as the first point of contact for new business and client engagements.

Ensure consistency among teams and make recommendations on the best practice around client relationship management approach.

Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.

Network with companies to promote CBL’s work.
Process Management
-
Design & manage the internal business model for BD engagement with cross-functional teams to align efforts and maximise sales opportunities.

Coordinate with programme teams to ensure timely deal closure and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with the Business Operations Manager to optimise CRM usage, ensuring leads are updated, feedback is collated, and client touchpoints are managed.
Fundraising and Government Liaison

Identify alternative funding opportunities and grant sources to secure additional resources.

Collaborate with internal teams – Marcomm & Project Team, to prepare funding proposals/ representations.
Client Onboarding
-
Oversee the initial onboarding process (i.e. procurement system, etc.) for sizable clients with support from the Operations team.
Other Responsibilities
-
Deliver key Community Business Programmes and workshops as required.

Provide updates on key consumer trends to the management team.
What You Bring:
Basic Requirements
-
Sales and/or business development experience to identify leads and opportunities, build and develop client relationships and close deals especially with corporate clients.

Ability to work in a client-facing consultative capacity to be able to create proposals that suit clients' needs.
-
Understanding of DE&I principles particularly within the Asian corporate context.
-
Self-motivated & capable of performing under a dynamic and multicultural environment.
-
Strong English communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
-
Experience in facilitation and public speaking.

Proficiency in various tools and platforms for effective online delivery (Zoom, Miro, etc.)
-
Proficiency in Office 365/ Fluency in written and spoken English language.
Preferred Requirements
-
Relevant qualification, certification or courses in DE&I, HR or related fields.
-
Having a strong network of contacts in both the corporate and community sector.

Experience in DE&I or HR Consulting.
-
Understanding non-profit sector and Diversity & Inclusion market.
-
Experience in working for a sizable corporation/ organisation with stakeholders at all levels.
