Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) between you ("The Client”) and Community Business Limited (“CBL”) describes the terms and conditions on which The Client may access and use the related services for the Community Business Inclusive Leadership Programme (“Services”) together with the Website and all relevant marketing materials. By accessing or using any of the Services, The Client acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. 

INTRODUCTION 
Through the Services, we aim to give The Client access to CBL’s facilitation services and trainings. 

MODIFICATION OF THE SERVICES AND/OR TERMS 
CBL may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services and/or Terms at any time for any reason. However, CBL will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify The Client of material changes to these Services and/or Terms by posting a notice on the Website and/or sending an email to the email address The Client provided to CBL upon registration. 

COMMUNICATIONS 

The Client consent to receive communications from us, including email, text messages, calls, and push notifications, including for the purposes of notifying The Client about the status of the Service, sending The Client reminders, and providing other information. We may contact The Client by telephone calls or text messages.  

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

CBL at all times retains all title, ownership and intellectual property rights over the materials and trademarks contained within or arising in the pursuit of delivering the services intended by this Terms including all supporting documentation, files, marketing materials, models, multi-media, and tools. No recording of the session will be allowed unless written consent by CBL is provided. 

The Client acknowledge that photographs and screenshots may be taken during the course of the Services. These images may be used for marketing purposes, promotional materials, and other related activities at the discretion of CBL.  

PAYMENT 

CBL will invoice for the Services immediately upon receipt of a written agreement to engage in the Services. 

Should a purchase order be required to facilitate payment of invoices, The Client will raise the same without delay. 

Payments shall be made before Services start date, via electronic funds transfer in USD or in HKD. Cheque payment is also acceptable. 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

If The Client decides to cancel the Services, please submit the request via e-mail no later than seven working days before the Services’ start date. Th Client may choose to either defer their start date or receive credits for other CBL offerings. Rejections will be at CBL’s discretion. 

REMARKS 

CBL will not be held accountable for any accidents due to The Client’s own negligence. 

CBL will not be responsible for any loss or damage to The Client’s personal property. 

For inclement weather such as Black Rainstorm or Typhoon 8, Services will be postponed or modified to a virtual format. Notice will be given to The Client prior to 2 hours before start time. 

MEDICAL ATTENTION 

In the event of personal emergency, sudden illness or accident, The Client authorises CBL to seek medical, hospital or ambulance services on The Client’s behalf where the CBL, in its absolute discretion, considers it necessary or appropriate to do so. The Client agrees that they will be solely responsible for any expenses associated with the provision of such incidents. 

JURISDICTION 

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the Hong Kong S.A.R. and, by signing this agreement, you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of this territory.
