Bringing Out the Best in Asian Talent
An initiative of the Diversity and Inclusion in Asia Network (DIAN), this piece of research looks at how multinational companies operating in Asia can create workplace environments that bring out the best in Asian talent and foster the development of greater Asian leadership. It hopes to facilitate and encourage more open and honest discussion by the corporate sector about the challenges of ‘culture’ in the workplace in Asia and identify what multinationals operating in Asia can do to position themselves as employers of choice for local Asian talent and create more inclusive workplaces that enable more to reach leadership positions. It highlights some of the specific cultural dynamics in three key countries in Asia, namely: The People’s Republic of China (China), Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong) and India.
