Overview

This pioneering research provides valuable context through which to understand the intersectional nature of mental health for LGBT+ employees in the workplace across four key Asian markets: China, Hong Kong, India and Singapore.

The research presents our findings and explores important topics such as:

  • Insights from the employee interviews
  • The link between LGBT+ discrimination and its impact on employee wellbeing
  • The need for an intersectional approach which recognises the unique mental health challenges faced by LGBT+ employees
  • The experiences of LGBT+ employees at work and the impact on their mental health
  • Recommendations for companies and actions they can take to provide an appropriate level of support
