Social Media & Marketing Associate

Community Business, the leading organisation committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in companies across Asia, is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Associate. This is a full-time role, based in India and reporting to Marketing & Communications Manager.

What You’ll Do:

This role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable and champion Community Business’ overall strategy, positioning and offerings.
  • Contribute to the planning, development and execution of all social media and marketing campaigns, including the execution of paid social media ads.
  • Be comfortable planning, editing and reviewing video and audio content for use in our marketing and thought leadership material. 
  • Be comfortable using design software to create social media and marketing content
  • Manage website content updates ensuring consistent web design and prevent, resolve or escalate any system issues to the developers.
  • Support in drafting eDM communication content and managing editorial calendar.
  • Monitor and track engagement trends, audience growth and subscribers list for all digital marketing channels.
  • Suport the management of our SEO to increase organisations online visibility via organic channels and effectively utilise Google AdWords for SEM.
  • Monitor and manage web traffic, performance, data and insights via Google Analytics to increase organisations conversions.
  • Ensure eDM segmentation is managed and review how best to target audience by actively tracking engagement.
  • Monitor online news coverage across the region and globally that relates to our focus areas to build our profile as a recognised thought leader.
  • Assist with development and implementation of creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches that support our programme of activities including, research, events, programmes and campaigns.
  • Support overall PR & media strategy in line with our business objectives and goals, including print, broadcast and online media.
  • Identify effective marketing channels including partnerships with local NGOs, chambers of commerce, professional associations and media partners.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

 

What You Bring:

We are looking for an individual with:  

  • A keen interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR), diversity and inclusion, and creating a positive impact through working closely with the business sector.
  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably major in Marketing / Digital Marketing / Media Communication / Public Relations / Journalism.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficient in using design and editing software
  • Excellent digital analytic reporting skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Mailchimp and Social metrics.
  • Familiar with online platforms such as Hootsuite and Mailchimp, or similar.
  • Strong web management skills.
  • Highly organised with good forward planning, project management and time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Highly creative and driven to succeed.
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently under time pressure as well as a strong team player.
  • Has a critical mind, thinks creatively and has good problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient, able to adapt to different situations and enjoy working in a dynamic, stimulating and fast-moving environment.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer skills: Microsoft software, design and editing software
