Janet Ledger
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Janet drives the overall strategic direction and sustainability of Community Business.
With over 40 years of work experience, Janet has built a successful career as a senior leader covering a broad range of disciplines. Prior to joining Community Business in 2019 as the Chief Operating Officer, she led strategic business planning, programme management, corporate governance, change management, organisational effectiveness and talent development. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Janet is now based in Hong Kong.
Janet specialises in strategic leadership, organisational development, and fostering inclusive environments, leading Community Business in its mission to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across Asia. She works with teams to open channels of communication, develop talent, and create inclusive environments that drive organisational success.
Other Information:
Janet holds a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences from Swinburne University of Technology and an Advanced Diploma in Programme and Project Management. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, alumni of The Women's Foundation Mentoring Programme of Hong Kong, and a member of the 30% Club of Hong Kong Steering Committee.

Asha Nair
Director of Operations
As the Director of Operations, Asha plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction and sustainability for Community Business as a not-for-profit organization. Her leadership extends to overseeing the overall success of CB India, driving the development and execution of long-term plans towards organization’s sustainability, amplifying positive impact across India.
Asha is a seasoned operations leader and CXO advisor with over 25 years of strategic leadership in driving large-scale transformations and standardizing operations. She excels in establishing robust governance frameworks, streamlining processes, and delivering substantial cost savings while ensuring sustainable growth. Her expertise lies in designing and implementing solutions that prioritize financial prudence, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency, all while aligning operations with organizational goals.
Prior to joining Community Business, as SVP at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia-India (CBAi), she led end-to-end global workforce management and vendor engagement for a 3,000+ FTE business unit, while also overseeing business management for the India wing of 1000 FTE’s.
A global Indian, Asha hails from southern India, was born in the north, studied in the west, and fell in love with Europe during her stay in Romania and Hungary. Proficient in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and elementary Romanian, she is currently based in Bangalore, India.
Asha holds a degree in Hotel and Nutrition Administration and has earned certifications in Lean Six Sigma, ontological coaching, and outcome-based coaching from ICF-accredited institutions, reflecting her deep interest in cultural and social anthropology.
Outside of work, she is an avid nature photographer, finding inspiration in the natural world. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive, customer-centric teams and is passionate about continuous growth. Asha is committed to driving meaningful change as Community Business embarks on its next evolutionary journey.

Jeiz Robles
Director of DE&I
Jeiz Robles (she/her) is a Filipina, bisexual, neurodivergent woman recognised globally on the Top 20 of Involve's Global LGBT+ Future Leaders for several years. She champions societal inclusion by influencing Diversity & Inclusion strategies, policies and programs through active work with Employee Resource Groups, Business Leaders and Civil Society Organisations. As Community Business’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director (DE&I), she is responsible for the strategic direction of Community Business’ DE&I offerings.
Prior to joining Community Business, Jeiz worked with IBM in various capacities for 14 years. As APAC Marketplace Diversity Leader, she leveraged on IBM's experience and thought leadership on global diversity & talent management to build and strengthen customer relationships and identify new business & collaboration opportunities for IBM within the Asia.
Prior to joining Marketplace Diversity, she worked with IBM Consulting leading delivery of HR & Talent Services for various industries globally. Jeiz's decade of experience in the company has revolved around leading HR services through transformation, robotic process automation and analytics. She has lead user-centric innovation by use of Design Thinking and Agile ways of working.
As a passionate champion for inclusion, her work with the LGBT+ community in her country has pioneered inclusive programs in ASEAN region which other companies have followed suit gaining several recognitions worldwide.
Outside her various experience in IBM, she is one of the Trustees for the Philippine Financial & Inter-industry Pride (PFIP) where she ran industry-leading initiatives including publishing the PFIP Playbook, founding its Advocacy by Leadership Enablement Program, ran and speak on its Leadership Forums, Pride summits and more. She also was one of the Co-chairs of the Philippine Business Disability Network and recognising the importance of intersectionality and Diversity and Inclusion beyond the workplace, she and her wife have Cofounded The National Inclusion Council of the Philippines that have enabled them to reach and support LGBTQ+ youth and enable workplace inclusion for the local government.

Emily Moss
Head of Social Impact
Emily is Head of Social Impact at Community Business. She is responsible for driving and developing strategy around community impact: how the organisation is perceived in and engaging with current thought leadership and market trends in CSR, DE&I and Employee Wellbeing. Emily oversees the Marketing & Communications, Research and Events teams at Community Business.
Emily began her career in London at a boutique international development consultancy that partners with global NGOs and government agencies to establish development strategies, and monitor projects across the world. Prior to joining Community Business, Emily worked at a global advertising agency in both Shanghai and HK, managing international banking and entertainment accounts. She has also worked at an NGO in Hong Kong, focusing on donor development and major fundraising initiatives.
A graduate of Bristol University and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, Emily holds a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict & Development. She is native in English.

Johnny Chan
Senior Operations Manager
Johnny is the Senior Operations Manager, based in Hong Kong. He is mainly responsible for the operations of Community Business including people and talent, technology, systems and processes, and office administration.
Prior to this role, he was the Programme Manager of DIAN, and was responsible for event, project and member management as well as communications of the DIAN network. He also worked for Community Business as an intern when he was a university student, providing support to administration and other teams.
A graduate of Lingnan University in Hong Kong, Johnny holds a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary English Studies. He is native in Cantonese, and fluent in English and Mandarin.

Ron Sampaga
Senior Manager, Consulting & Training
As the Senior Manager, Consulting & Training, Ron leads the Consulting and Training team at Community Business. With over 10 years of experience in human resources and learning & development, Ron has honed his expertise in training individuals and teams to drive transformational change. His diverse project experience spans a wide range of industries, including sales and marketing, hospitality, banking and finance.
Ron's expertise lies in leadership development, sales enablement, team building, customer service and personal branding. He is proficient in developing and facilitating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programmes that promote understanding, respect, and inclusive practices within organisations.
Ron has successfully facilitated transformative learning initiatives in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan. He delivers trainings in both English and Tagalog.
Ron's dedication to continuous professional growth is evident in his extensive credentials, which include certifications as a DiSC Trainer, Life/Executive Coach, and Master Trainer. He believes that training is not merely to inform, but to inspire.

Saranta Gattie
Senior Programme Manager, DIAN
Saranta is the Senior Programme Manager for DIAN. She is responsible for driving the development and execution of DIAN across the region.
Prior to Community Business, Saranta was working with founders and leaders committed to building authentic work cultures and workplaces that empower their teams. Her experience brings together a unique blend of workplace strategy, learning & programme design and leadership coaching.
Passionate about the future of work, Saranta launched The Working Capitol, a co-working space in Singapore to re-imagine the way work, wellbeing and inclusion can co-exist. She was also the Head of Learning for a private network of female leaders, spearheading the programme design & delivery and member experience across events, workshops & networking opportunities, to advance the role of women in leadership. Saranta is a strong believer in the power of community to drive transformation and create impact and is a champion of diversity & inclusion practices in and out of the workplace.
Saranta was born in Belgium and raised in Singapore. A graduate from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts, International Studies & French, she worked in the US and Southeast Asia representing global brands in her early career before exploring the world of entrepreneurship. Saranta is a coach-in training, supporting especially female founders and working mothers. She is fluent in English and French, conversational in Italian and learning Indonesian.

Scot Jones
Senior Programme Manager, LGBTQ+
As the Senior Programme Manager, LGBTQ+, Scot is responsible for developing and driving the strategy for the portfolio of LGBTQ+ programmes, client relationship management, and business development for the team. Scot has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and HR Generalist in the US and Canada. Prior to joining Community Business, he worked as a Diversity & Inclusion Advisor and volunteered for two NGOs in Hong Kong focused on social justice and gender equality. Scot relocated to Hong Kong in 2015 and has been actively involved in the local community since then.
Scot specialises in LGBTQ+ programme development, strategy, and implementation. His expertise spans diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ issues in the workplace and broader community. Scot delivers comprehensive LGBTQ+ programmes and strategic consulting, leveraging his extensive experience to provide valuable insights and practical solutions for organisations seeking to enhance their LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts. Scot graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Psychology. In his free time, Scot is an active volunteer with various organisations in Hong Kong, demonstrating his commitment to social justice and community engagement beyond his professional role.

Bhavya Gupta
Programme Manager, India
Bhavya is the Programme Manager at Community Business India. She is responsible for supporting the programmes, campaigns and research projects in India.
Prior to Community Business, Bhavya worked as Social Impact Manager in a volunteer-based organisation called U&I. She designed and implemented various short-term volunteering programs in multiple sectors like environment, education, disability etc. Bhavya has finished her post-graduation in Social Work, specialising in Disability Studies and Action from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai.
She is fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. She uses She/Her pronouns.
DIAN
Bijita Thapa
Programme Manager, DIAN
Bijita is a Programme Manager for the DIAN team based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for maintaining the member database and providing support for DIAN events and campaigns.
Before joining community business, Bijita was a marketing coordinator for an NGO focused on empowering marginalised women and youth through an intersectional feminist lens. She has also interned for Prudential to conduct market research on ethnic minorities and for an SME in the holistic wellness industry. One of her passion projects is to publish a bilingual children book to raise awareness on social issues, promote bilingualism, and increase Nepalese representation in children literature.
Bijita holds a bachelors degree in Business Management and Liberal Arts. She is fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi while being intermediate in Cantonese and Mandarin. She uses she/her/her pronouns.

Eliana Lam
Programme Manager, Events & Partnership
Eliana is the Events & Partnership Manager, based in Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for managing both internal and external events, as well as fostering partnership with different organisations. Since 2022, she is also the project manager for the Community Business Awards, an awards programme for the celebration of responsible and inclusive business practices in Asia.
Prior to joining Community Business, Eliana worked at an IT company, assisting in event management and copywriting. She also worked in an NGO, coordinating workshops and seminars, which help small to medium-sized non-profits grow better in serving the communities. With this work experience, Eliana has developed a strong interest in marketing and communications. She would like to develop her career in related areas and make positive changes to the society.
A graduate of The Open University of Hong Kong, Eliana holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Honours in Professional Accounting. She is native in Cantonese, fluent in Mandarin and English.

Felix Fung
Business Operations Manager
Felix is the Business Operations Manager based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for providing general office support and to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Prior to joining Community Business, Felix worked as a private tutor teaching English and Maths to adults and kids. During high school, he volunteered at an elderly care home on the weekends to help out.
Felix holds a Master's degree in Organisational Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
