“Flexing”— is the art of switching between leadership styles to more effectively engage people who are different from you. The global marketplace and our changing workplace demographic demand more agility in our ability to understanding differences in values and communication patterns. In today’s constantly evolving workplace, you must be able to navigate this diverse work environment. Yet, because cultural/generational differences can be invisible or difficult to spot, we may not pick up on subtle nuances that we encounter daily.
