This is why aligning with the UN SDGs is key as they provide the blueprint to develop initiatives, programmes and cultures that will guide societies and organisations to a brighter future for all. Community Business is creating their first in-person Wellbeing Conference focusing exactly on this: How do we create a wellbeing culture for today and the future?

Prior to Community Business, Chris worked as a Senior Practitioner and Team Leader at an online mental health service that focused on building and managing a team of mental health practitioners who are responsible for supporting clients all over the UK. He has also spent the last 10 years working and training within the mental health sector working with local government in the UK to further develop support for young people. Chris has also worked in non-profit organisations focusing on building small to medium size enterprises, helping many business owners improve their workforce and achieve their business goals.
Chris has a Masters in Psychology and specialises in Behaviour Change with a specific focus on Motivational Interviewing and Functional Imagery Training. Chris is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, the first responder in the workplace to any mental health needs as well as a Level 4 Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) responsible for working collaboratively with practitioners to ensure risk and safeguarding procedures are followed. He has also worked at the standard of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 in Leadership and Management from his time in the British Army. Chris’s pronouns are He/Him.

She completed her Masters in Human Resource Management (MHRM) at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka and obtained the Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management (PQHRM) from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM). She is also a Chartered Member of the CIPM.
