Description

The World Economic Forum predicts that Gen Z will account for one-third of the workforce globally by 2025. This generation has an entirely unique perspective on careers, success, and interactions in the workplace. It is also interesting to observe how intersectionality plays out with Gen Z as they have greater awareness on identities and a more inclusive way of thinking.

Growing up in an interconnected environment, has brought in greater awareness, leading to Gen Zs actively seeking opportunities in organisations where DE&I is an imperative. Also being digital natives, they actively seek AI and technology solutions for their professional use.

This Public Workshop will explore what the new workforce will look like and the unique opportunities and challenges it will bring. It will also address how organisations can adapt and realign strategies to attract and retain top talent from this generation.

Key takeaways include:

  • Understanding the priorities of Gen Z in the workplace
  • Perspective of the managers from different generations when leading a multigeneration team including Gen Z.
  • Opportunities, and challenges both from the lens of Gen Z and the Managers.
  • Influence of this generation on the organizational culture - intersectionality being addressed.
  • Process and policy changes organisations will need to adapt for attraction and retention of this generation.
