Senior Programme Manager, India

Community Business, the leading organisation committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in companies across Asia., is looking for a Senior Programme Manager for our team in India. This position is suited to a seasoned professional who is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace in Asia, and will demonstrate a strong ownership to take the programme execution and its strategy to the next level by identifying new opportunities, reinforce Community Business as a content expert, and strengthen client relationship.

This is a full-time role organisationally reporting to the Head of India and functionally to the Director of DE&I.  The role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Drive the development and execution of network and campaigns for the Indian market with a sustainable business model and strategy.
  • Programme Management: Take lead responsibility and be accountable for implementing the overall programmes in India including networks, events and research.
  • Consulting & Training: Leverage content expertise to design and deliver consulting and training to clients.
  • Public Profile: Build personal profile as a credible DE&I expert in the market and represent Community Business in public forums to continue to develop Community Business’ position as a thought leader and content expert on DE&I.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the team to deliver.
  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with other DE&I experts, key clients and partners.
  • Business Development: Proactively develop the portfolio and engage prospective clients and sponsors.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Content knowledge and credibility in the space of DE&I.
  • Passion for impacting positive changes in the workplace.
  • Self-motivation, confidence and drive to build on an existing strategy and take it to the next level.
  • Ability to network, build relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including partners, clients and team members.
  • Strong organisational, project and event management skills (including budget and P&L management experience) with strong planning and follow-through on execution, as well as the ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and different priorities concurrently.
  • Capability to respond proactively to dynamic situations and market needs.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with sensitivity and awareness to communicate effectively in a multicultural workplace and marketplace. 
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with credibility in front of clients.
  • High proficiency in MS Office programs.

Salary

The salary will be commensurate with the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
