Hong Kong LGBT Climate Study 2011-12
The Hong Kong LGBT Climate Study 2011-12 seeks to advance the dialogue on the important subject of sexual orientation and gender identity in Hong Kong. By examining both the attitudes towards and experiences of LGBT employees in Hong Kong, this two-part study provides a picture of the current context and challenges LGBT individuals face – both in the wider community and in the workplace - and highlights the challenges and opportunities that exist for companies in Hong Kong. This report summarises the key findings from a representative survey of the Hong Kong working population and a focus survey of LGBT employees in Hong Kong, with an emphasis on data that supports the existence of a business case for creating inclusive workplaces for LGBT employees.
